You are entitled to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for canceling an order is 14 days from the date you received the goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision using a clear statement.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.

Description

Creating approximately 40 pairs of porcelain earrings requires at least a month, sometimes even longer. It all begins with dry porcelain clay, which is carefully moistened, kneaded, and shaped until it becomes a smooth, uniform material.

Next comes the most creative stage – forming the fragments of the future jewelry from the porcelain mass. This is the moment when the true nature of porcelain is revealed: at times, it is sticky and “unruly,” while at other times, it is brittle and “rebellious.”

Once the delicate jewelry fragments have been successfully crafted, they are carefully refined into their final shapes and then fired in a kiln at 1000°C.

After the first firing, the porcelain becomes harder and slightly more durable. Each jewelry piece is then sanded, polished, drilled, engraved, and processed as needed. The “survivors” of this stage are selected and coated with a porcelain glaze before being fired once again at temperatures reaching up to 1280°C.

After approximately 24 hours, when the kiln has cooled, the moment of surprise arrives – the porcelain has taken on its final shape and colors. Of course, some pieces are lost in the process, as not all are destined to become outstanding and unique jewelry.

At this point, Ēriks passes the baton to Maija, and the creative process continues. Each earring is decorated and made one-of-a-kind using various colors and techniques. To ensure the design is durable and long-lasting, the jewelry is once again placed in the kiln and fired at over 800°C.

But the journey doesn’t end there! Some pieces are adorned with 24 carat gold and platinum luster and fired for a fourth time at 800°C.

Finally, only the finest porcelain pieces that have withstood all stages of processing and the intense volcanic heat are rewarded with 925 sterling silver or 14 carat gold-filled fittings. Now, they have become durable, unique, and timeless jewelry pieces that are resistant to water, perfume, and other environmental factors.

The final steps involve photography, packaging, and listing the pieces online, before they are sent on their way to You. But that is another story…
